Today :)
I told several people that we would show photos of the house and we haven't shown much of it. Since I was taking a photo of the writing on the mirror in the master bath I thought I would take photos of the whole room:

This made me smile today. When I went up after breakfast I found this sweet note from my hubby. And yes, I did check to see if he used one of my "good" lipsticks to write it with! :)

Awana Awards night
Last night was the end of the year for Awana. Sarah and Zach were both recognized for finishing their books.
Here is Becca's group:
Becca finished the year strong! She finished her book, did all of the silver and gold extra credits and reviewed the whole book. To review the book you have to say from memory all of these things (in one sitting): 4 questions, 32 answers and 32 bible verses! It is quite an accomplishment. She is the only one in her group that did all of the above!
Josh, Kevin and I all work so we were awarded our service pins. Josh received his 6 year pin, Kevin got his 12 year pin and I got my 11th year! Now for our summer off before it starts all over again. :)

Peony Tree
Zach has been working a lot lately for a family from church that live around the corner. He has mowed their yard 2X in the last 8 days and has been digging a new garden plot for them. I think the garden spot is about 25 ft X 12 ft. Lots of hours for him! Good clean work never hurt a 14 year old. :) Plus he is still raising $ for our trip to TeenPact National Convention at the end of the month. Yesterday that lady brought me a jar of Tree Peonys! They smell FANTABULOUS! (doesn't seem right that he does the work and I get a gift! Tee Hee) Here is a quick pic of them.

Something new
This is a farm that we passed a couple weeks ago when we drove to KC for a home school conference. I love to drive by this place, but this time with the clover in bloom it was fantastic! And the building in the back ground is NOT the house, it is the BARN! You can see a bit of the house on the right of the photo.

Ludicrous
In this time of crisis after supposed crisis why is Congress debating the BCS College Football structure?
