I thought I would post a few more vacation pictures. The last photos were several posts back (in case you missed them) and I wanted to put a few more on the blog.Here is Zach playing with their puppy, Abby.Becca getting ready to ride Joey. He was Becca's favorite horse. He has one blue eye and one brown one.Zach and Sarah rode Smoke.If you have never heard the call of a loon you are missing something. We so enjoyed watching them the whole week. This momma and her 2 babies were around our resort quite a lot.Kevin went out for a joy ride in the fishing boat.

Cake decorating class

Saturday night Becca and I spent some time cake decorating. (I'm sure some of you will notice that at our "Cake Decorating Class" there were no cakes involved! Saves us from eating all those calories!) She has been asking for a while to learn. Sarah wants to learn also, but she was at Worlds of Fun riding rides for the first half of the day and then going to the concerts for the 2nd half of the day. The big draw for the night was Third Day. She and Zach had a great time there.
We have some baby doves living in the back yard. Someone got close enough the other day to snap a pic of them.

Fresh Fish Feast !!!

We brought some fish home from Minnesota with us. My brother and sister-in-law graciously gave us the fish that they were going to take home with them. Now~mind~you, we didn't catch any of these!!! My parents and brother caught about 95% of the fish for the week. Many hours of fishing for them. The rest of us greatly enjoyed their work! So it truly was a gift. Nor did we clean any of them, my brother did that for all the fish that was caught the entire week. And that was A LOT. I think we had 3 full meals for 15-18 people ~ that is a LOT of fish to clean! And he did it all. A few of us went and observed once or twice (we learned by watching) :)
We also bought some wild rice when we were in MN. Yummy. We had some of that with our fish tonight!

We had some great friends stop by and stay with us last night. We were right on their path from MN to TX and we were happy about that! Love having visitors!

My Trip to Florida!

This past week I got to spend some time in Florida visiting my friends Renee and Meg! I had a great time visiting everybody and it was so good to catch up with some GREAT friends!!!

Meg didn't know that I was coming down for a visit, so we planned a surprise! After much debating and thinking we finally decided on surprising Meg at the mall.

While I was in Florida, Meg graduated and at her graduation I got to see some wonderful friends of ours from when we lived in Florida!

Some good friends of ours took me out to lunch with them. It was so much fun to catch up and the food was wonderful! I had a great time.

Renee, Meg and I went to the beach the last day I was in Florida, and we had so much fun. We made some great memories and I'm going to treasure them for the rest of my life!
