My friend Liisa (her name is spelled correctly!) called one Sunday afternoon to invite my family over for a visit with some friends from waaaay back! Actually we were stationed in Germany with the May family from 1994-1996. Chaplain May dedicated Sarah and Zachary, we went to chapel together and they came to a bible study in our home. It was so sweet to catch up with them. It always amazes me how we can not see someone for so long (14 years) and it seemed that it had only been a few weeks since we had last seen them. The sad thing was that Kevin was still in Poland so he missed them.
We have been having a bit of dancing around here lately and it is so much fun! Waltz, foxtrot, Australian bush dance etc................

The above quilt is one that I helped a group of ladies at church make for my friend who lost her husband in Afghanistan in May. This group makes a quilt for all new widows and widowers.
B playing with a scooter that Sarah delivered this week to a church in KC. They will send it down to Haiti Home of Hope. They have a 16 year old amputee that will be able to use it. A lady at church had it provided to her when she broke her foot. When she was done with it she wanted it passed on to the orphan. B will miss it because she had so much with it!
Kevin and I made a trip to Salina on Saturday. We made a presentation about TeenPact to the Kansas state homeschool group leaders. We stopped in a little town called Alma on the way. Very pretty.
Bought some cheese curds here! And if you don't know what cheese curds are I know that you aren't from MN or WI !!!! ;)
